Data acquisition for a CVD detectors based proton telescope

JRC Geel is developing a proton telescope based on single-crystal CVD-SCD detectors to allow referencing reactor dosimetry cross sections to be measured at the MONNET (accelarator) facility to the primordial neutron fluence standard, the neutron-proton scattering cross section. Such dosimetry reactions are of key importance to reactor safety analyses where structural material embrittlement estimates have to be based on fluxes and spectra measured in the reactor. In this context the purchase of a dedicated data acquisition system is needed.
