Building 222 will be a security centre that will incorporate the current security facilities at the entry of the site.The safety, health, environment and security sector, on-site medical facilities, emergency/meeting room andfire brigade facilities are foreseen in this building. Providing temporary accommodation for guards during theconstruction process is also included in the project.
Building 222 will be environmentally friendly with low energy consumption. Heating and cooling of the buildingwill be provided via heat pumps (warm water will be stored in the ground in summer and used in winter, andcold water will be stored in the ground in the winter and used in the summer). Rainwater will be reused forflushing the toilets. Thick insulation in the facades and on the roof will minimise the heat loss (in winter) and theheating (in summer). The concept of the building fits in the EU 2020 strategy and its conception contributes tothe 20/20/20 objectives.

Before the final date for submission of tenders:

- If clarification is required or if obvious clerical errors in the tender need to be corrected, the contracting authority may contact the tenderer provided the terms of the tender are not modified as a result.
- In case of negotiated procedure, the contracting authority may negotiate with tenderers the offers they have submitted, in order to adapt them to the requirements set out in the contract notice, tender specifications or any additional document and in order to find the tender offering best value for money. During negotiations equal treatment of all tenderers will be ensured.
