The publication of the "Planned calls for tenders for low value contracts" is made pursuant article 119 (3) of the Implementing Rules of the Financial Regulation applicable to the general budget of the European Communities. This article provides for ex ante advertising on the Internet sites of contracts whose value is between 25.001€ and 60.000€.

Personal data of an economic operator sent in the frame of this expression of interest shall be processed pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data. The Director of Resources of the JRC has taken the responsibility, as Controller of the processing operations on personal data covered by the notification DPO-3312. In this context, personal data shall be processed solely for the purpose of the eventual selection to be invited to tender in low value contracts procedures by the Head of the Management Support Unit of the Directorate/Institute acting as Processor without prejudice to possible transmission to the bodies charged with monitoring or inspection task in application of Union law.

The data provided will be kept during one year from the date in which the list of "Planned calls for tenders" has been published. The economic operator shall have the right of access to his/her personal data and the right to rectify any such data. Should the economic operator have any queries concerning the processing of his/her personal data, he/she shall address them to the following mailbox: jrc-ipsc-procurement@ec.europa.eu.
